Dun working June 14 !! Parked the Airstream and concession trailers in storage in Tampa. On my way upcountry I found and bought a motorcycle pop up tent camper to pull behind my Mini Cooper. Lived in it all summer near Baraboo. Enjoyed my summer and fall in Paridise. Traveled to Eau Claire several times- highlight was Fourniers reunion. Mickey Lenius(sp) band played and it was wonderful. Visited Kittle a couple of times and really enjoyed our time reminiscing. The fall was my first at home in 20 years. Wow is all I can say !! Beauty beyond description.
Plan to stay North until after Christmas then heading to the Aransas Federal Wildlife Refuge on the Gulf coast of Texas. I'm volunteering at the refuge thru April. Then the plan is to head back to WISCONSIN briefly. Traveling north and working west seeing as many sites as possible. National Parks are primary focus from Minnesota to Washington,south on the coast highway to the Yuccatan. Kayak in the Sea of Corteaz. Back north to Route 66- Grand Canyon- to Chicago then north to Old Abe's and Old bAbes reunion . Hope to see everyone there .Paris is the next overseas trip planned,and visiting old friends and making new ones. Still on the lookout for a woman to share my interesting life with.....so if you know any, get us together !!!! Still live with my dog Mr BILL the Wonder Dog and we do everything together. He's really a wonderful friend and companion. Being an OLD ABE I miss all of you and smile often at the wonderful memories and many friends made in Eau Claire. I'm a reunion guy and hope to see y'all there in the fall of 15- who ever thought we'd see it. Some of us didn't ,but they will be remembered- we'll all be tougher again !! Loved it from kindergarten with Miss Feenan at Lincoln to Al and John at Memorial.
